The daily news is filled with horror stories about refugee resettlement in Europe and hints that many of these same groups of people are being admitted to the United States as well, even without reliable vetting. City, county and state governments as well as citizens are concerned.

Concern about terrorism, crime and financial costs are huge factors. Amarillo, Texas, has been overwhelmed with refugees and was recently named the fifth most dangerous city in Texas, according to FBI crime statistics. And it has been nationally recognized as having one of the highest rates of rape in the nation. Amarillo schools had to assimilate 600 student refugees but only receives $100 per student from the federal government.

What, if anything, can be done to prepare for such an occurrence?

Roy White, Lt Col, USAF, Ret., will be the featured guest speaker for the Boerne TEA Party Patriots meeting on Thursday, March 10th at 6:30pm in the Patrick Heath Public Library, Boerne.

White will address the current news as it relates to refugee settlement in America and actions that should be taken in advance of that occurrence. He will also give a foundational summary of the civilization jihad which is being witnessed in Europe at this time.

Lt Col White, after several tours of duty in the Middle East with the Air Force, has continued to focus on learning about Islam. As coordinator of the San Antonio chapter of ‘Act! for America’, he has been very involved in educating the public concerning the Muslim Brotherhood, and the threat of Shariah law to our Constitution and the very rights and freedoms it assures.

White also leads a citizen group, Truth in Textbooks, which reviewed social studies textbooks, searching for and discovering 1500 factual errors, biases, and omissions which were often related to pro-Islamic, anti-Christian/western agenda. About 60% of those issues were corrected or removed before the textbooks were certified for classroom use.

Lt Col White, a Boerne resident, is involved with a number of organizations which benefit military veterans and their families, such as the Coalition to Salute American Heroes.

The Boerne TEA Party Patriots invite and encourage you to attend this meeting. Meetings are always open and public, as the mission is to inform and educate citizens about issues that affect them and their community.
