Pastor Greg Young
Congressman Lamar Smith
in a Double Header.
Pastor Greg Young, host of the radio program, Chosen Generation, has some very interesting thoughts about what is at stake in the upcoming November general election and U.S. Representative Lamar Smith will be on hand for a town hall type Q&A session.
Both men will address the Boerne TEA Party Patriots on Thursday, October 9th at 6:30pm in the Patrick Heath Library.
Pastor Greg Young is host of the radio show, Chosen Generation, “where no topic is off limits and everything is filtered through biblical glasses”. The program is heard on KERV 1230AM at 10:00 each morning. Ordained in 2002, Pastor Young heads the Hill Country Chapter of the Oak Initiative and is a member of the Bandera County Christian Fellowship. He has been married for 26 years to a Texas gal, is the father of five and a grandfather.
Congressman Smith serves as Chairman of the Science, Space, and Technology Committee, which oversees NASA, Dept. of Energy, the EPA, the National Science Foundation, the FAA, and the National Institute of Standards and Technology. He continues to serve on both the Judiciary and the Homeland Security Committees.
These three committees oversee many of the topics which concern citizens greatly at this time. Here is an opportunity to have your voice heard in Washington, so bring your questions and comments for the Congressman.
Visitors are always welcome, so bring a friend!
In September we thought back to September 11, 2001.
We heard an account written by Rob Reinarz, the son of TEA Party regulars Karen and Bob Reinarz, who worked in the World Trade Center. Several people told a remembrance of what they were doing at the time of the attack or a poignant recollection from later on when visiting Ground Zero.
Anne Newman, our programs director.
On the left: Jack Fisher and his mom, Sue were in attendance.
Seated next to them were first-timers, Diana and Bob Borders. Welcome!
Julie Banks and Dr. Tommie Dahlmann were in a serious discussion until they realized a camera was focusing on them.
